Ok, so I really wasn't going to edit this and leave a written review... but I just read a review that kind of irritated me a little bit... The comment that bothered me was something like "people only write reviews when they're angry..." Something to that extent... I disagree, mainly because I DEFINITELY take the time to review things that are AWESOME AND THAT WORK WELL!!! Not only that, but I even write reviews that I feel neutral about or just don't know enough about the place or product etc. So, I feel that was an unfair statement. Yes, a lot of people do only write negative/bad reviews and I can see how that can be frustrating, but there are a lot of us that do take the time to write reviews no matter what! When I'm looking to review a place or a product or whatever, I like Honesty and I hope for at least a few reviews so I can get a better idea of what to expect. Also, I try to keep an open mind and possibly still try places and products even if they don't have great reviews because we all have our own opinions... Anyway, sorry for the rambling and I didn't say much about the clinic, if anything so here goes... I'm definitely grateful that this clinic exists and it has definitely helped me to stay off of street drugs. In my experience with this clinic, if you put your all into your recovery (much like any recovery program) you'll get way more out of it. This facility is okay. I won't lie, so I will say there is a reason I gave it 3 out of 5 stars. One thing is that unfortunately, counseling for me is an issue. I understand that they have these rules for a reason and it's part of recovery, but I already see a counselor (which is also mandatory for me) for my "Mental Health" and my particular counselor outside of the clinic also has her Master's in Stubstance abuse and alcohol counseling a.k.a MLADC... So, it's a bit frustrating for me to have to see 2 different counselors for the same exact reasons... Substance Abuse and Mental Health... Because the clinic is a dual diagnosis facility as well as the other facility I go to for Mental Health stuff. But... I decided to suck it up and just do it because I tried multiple times to make some kind of agreement with both facilities, but neither one of them was willing to do that. I guess it's because of State protocol or something? I don't know? So, I eventually just gave in and had to move my schedule around so I can literally sit in an office for an hour or so and talk about the weather, sports, dogs, etc etc etc. You probably get the point.. I get bored of talking about the same thing over and over... But anyway, moving on.... So, I chose to just shut up about it and just do what I had to do to continue with my recovery. That being said, the other issue is Counselors don't last very long here for some reason. So, if you're lucky enough to have a counselor, you'll most likely only have that counselor for a few months or so... I personally have been lucky enough to have had a counselor that actually stayed there for about 5 or 6 years, so that was nice! But many others weren't as lucky. All in all, I gave this clinic 3 stars because I felt that is an average rating and honestly, I really am grateful that it's available to me. And I believe that ALL facilities like this have their ups and downs, so I wouldn't say it's the worst place to go for help... And I do agree with another person's review, that you should really just go find out for yourself... It is an individualized problem (somewhat) and you may have a completely different experience than me or anyone else... And if you are addicted to opioids and just can't get and stay clean/sober, this actually may be a better option for you?? It's really all about preference... It differs from person to person. I'm sorry about this "review"! I don't even know if this qualifies as a review, but I tried... And this is actually why I wasn't going to write anything... I end up being way too long winded and I ALWAYS end up all over the place... So, I apologize again for this terribly written/typed review.

I’ve been employed here almost a year now and I can say with confidence this is a good facility for opioid treatment. The medical staff I’ve met including the Dr’s, NP’s and nurses all work well together and with the patients needs in mind. The counselors are helpful and understanding and the counseling supervisor is one of the best I’ve ever seen in that job. I’ve seen many patients be successful and finish their treatment and I’ve seen some fail. It’s an individual treatment plan and the staff work with the patient as much as the patients will work with them. The facility has extended their hours by two hours due to patients request and counselors are now coming in on weekends and doing weekend groups for those with scheduling issues. It’s hard to go by google reviews of a clinic like this one as successful patients prefer privacy and only upset patients will give reviews. If you are considering treatment please consider checking out the facility yourself and making your decision based on your own experiences with us. We are here to help you and want to see you succeed.

I have been maintaining my sobriety for over 5 years and no doubt it was with the help of the medication (methadone) I have so many different opinions how this program could be better. First off take homes, my counselor does not have the time to spend with me so that I get the required hours in. Part of getting better is getting employment and maintaining it going to work daily and being a responsible adult, How can I maintain my employment and meet all the hours needed for take homes?, which at this point I believe I deserve. Anyone in treatment and reading this will understand I get up at 345 so I get to clinic early enough to get in and out. I dose at about 545 drive home which takes 20-25 mins immediately start getting ready for the day drive to work, work all day and do it all over again the next day. Because of my treatment I see no opportunity of even a weekend away because I can't get take homes I am caught in the catch 22, I have a counselor who cannot meet with me in my time frame for the amount of time needed to qualify for take homes heck this is a tough job for counselors most of the time there is not enough counselors to treat the amount of patients therefore here is how I see it. If someone is testing clean for 5 years relax some of the take home requirements especially when you do not have the staff to accommodate the patient. I should not be penalized because my clinic cannot accomodate a patient. In addition when I started treatment and sat down with my counselor one of the first things he said to me was this is a money making business if you cannot pay they will drop you. What happens when the clinic cannot provide the services needed for the patient. I do not know but am ready to research and figure it out.
